Sources and Verification

Source priority

For verifiable facts, priority goes to official plan and terms pages, help centres, regulator and operator documents, press releases, and in-house tests with a published protocol and raw data.

Secondary reporting may provide context, but does not replace a primary source for the price, coverage, activation conditions or limits of a specific plan.

How a claim is recorded

For every material claim we record the primary URL, publisher, source type, access date and the scope of what the source supports. For plan comparisons, the record unit is plan × seller × destination × duration/allowance × scenario × verification date.

If a source does not name a network, hotspot rule, fair-use limit, purchase availability or another condition, we record the gap rather than infer it.

Limitations and updates

Dated official-source records confirm only the terms published by the seller. They do not replace personal use or a documented test purchase.

A review is triggered by a change to price, currency, allowance, duration, network, activation terms, hotspot/fair use, commercial disclosure or a new primary source.

Dataset use and licensing

eSIM.press does not publish its dataset compilation, selection, normalisation or presentation under an open licence. Quotation is permitted where applicable law allows it, with attribution and a link to the relevant eSIM.press page.

Reuse beyond applicable legal exceptions, including bulk reproduction, resale or publication as a substitute dataset, requires prior written permission. Facts originating from provider sources remain subject to the rights and terms of those sources and are not relicensed by eSIM.press.

Independence

A commercial relationship does not make a source more reliable and does not affect criteria, scores, ranking positions or editorial conclusions. Affiliate or advertising links, if introduced, are labelled next to the link.
