O! Mobile outlines online eSIM activation for visitors to Kyrgyzstan
O! Mobile says international visitors can register for an eSIM in its app without an office visit and receive a QR code after registration.

What O! Mobile announced
On 24 August, O! Mobile described a digital activation path for international visitors to Kyrgyzstan. According to the operator, a prospective customer can download the My O! app, select a number and plan, register with passport details and pay without going to an office.
The operator says the service then provides a QR code for eSIM installation. O! also states that activation of a new number comes with a 30 GB promotional data allowance.
How the stated activation flow works
O!'s instructions tell new customers to use the app's new-subscriber journey, enter passport information, choose a number and plan, then pay for the selected offer. The QR code is issued after those steps; the operator says the number activates once the code is scanned.
That could reduce the need for a conventional shop visit, particularly for travellers arranging service before arrival or at the airport. The available plans, payment methods and exact rules for the 30 GB offer should still be checked in the app before purchase.
Who this may help
The announcement is most relevant to visitors to Kyrgyzstan with an eSIM-capable phone. Remote registration does not remove document requirements: O! specifically says passport details are part of the in-app process.
The announcement does not confirm route-specific coverage, the promotional allowance's validity period, hotspot terms or the final price of a plan. It is the operator's description of an activation method, not an independent test of the service.
What remains unknown
O! does not publish a complete visitor-plan table in this announcement or say which cards and other payment methods are available to every visitor. Before travelling, users should confirm device compatibility, current registration requirements and the price of the chosen plan on O!'s official site or in the app.
